LivingWorks provides unique, evidence-based training that empowers individuals, organizations and communities to work together to help keep people safe from suicide.

We Have Training for Everyone

Whether you are looking for training for yourself or exploring options for an entire organization – LivingWorks has options for you. Our goal is to provide training options for everyone, everywhere.

We offer four unique courses – LivingWorks Start, LivingWorks safeTALK, LivingWorks ASIST and LivingWorks Faith – all providing different levels of suicide prevention and intervention skills training.

Common Sectors

Education & Youth

Training for Educators and staff across primary, secondary and tertiary education settings, plus courses appropriate for senior students. Training is often extended to parents and carers to create a network of safety around young people.

Workplace

We train small, medium, and large workplaces in all industry sectors, including construction, healthcare, technology, business, agriculture, hospitality, education, entertainment and manufacturing.

Faith Leaders

Training for Christian clergy and lay leaders for ministry in many contexts, including parishes, hospitals, the military, schools and the wider community.

Military & Veterans

LivingWorks training with the Military dates back to the 1990s with the US Department of Defense and in more recent years has been rolled out with the Australian Defence Force and the Australian Department of Veteran Affairs.

First Responders

Training for first responder departments including paramedics, police and firefighters to support one another as colleagues to recognize if their peers may be having thoughts of suicide - and to support their work with the community.
